After the initial six months you have the choice of paying for either a six or a twelve months worth of updaters - the choice is yours. Constantly, every year there are numerous updates for the ever changing Ecommerce requirements ranging from existing feature updates & additions, completely new features, code streamlining in removing deprectaed functions & code, minor & major security updates to the database, e-mail system, new payment processors - currently supports 44 payment processors, in page code & support for latest browser release's & browser bugs.
Updates range from very small (minor) to quite large (major). Over a year there are usually one major release with all others being inbetween version feature & bug ammendments & new feature additions. Many of the new features are suggested by the users. The quickest implementation of a new feature from being requested to being available is 14 minutes.
The software is written in PHP &, fully PHP7 upwards &HTML5 compliant, runs from a MySQL Database on a Linux or Unix server.
